Lonesome Road

     Last night was so far one of the best I had in a long time. I was just feeling good, I was feeling like the real me and, you know ? I want that feeling back.
     Actually, I'm still stuck in that euphoria, in that great feeling of doing what I love most, and the feelin I got from being surrounded by the ones I love, the ones who appreciate me and my music, and by the one who made my entire day, last night.
     My first performance on stage was like a year ago, and he was there , by my side. A dear friend, a great guy, surely one of the best the whole planet has. There have been months since I saw him the last time, and yesterday, in the moment I heared his voice, I turned around, and I just jumped in his arms. In that second, I felt like touching Heaven again. Buddy, you've been missed !
     All the way to the moment of my performance, he was there, by me, supporting every sound of mine. It really felt like old times.

     You know that feeling, like when you've been away from home a long time, and in the instant you get there, you can't believe it, and you're trying to not get out of there a whole week ? That's the feeling I got when we embraced, and we just started to talk , and to tell all kind of jokes that made no sense.
     Knowing him there, and knowing a big part of my friends there, gave me more confidence and relief that I could have ever imagined.
     I stepped on the stage at the hearing of my name, I heared all the applause , I looked at them all, and I felt their support. The rest, was the easy part.
     Thank you for comming back to help me spread my wings widely, thank you for being my friend, thank you for being just the way you are, thank you for being you !
     The language of friendship is not words, but meanings. Because friendship it's not a big thing. It is a huge thing formed by a million little pieces. And when you have a true friend, you have everything.
                               Thank you for knowing when I need you, without me to say it.

I've Got Dreams to Remember

Sometimes, people put up walls. Not to keep people away, but to see who cares enough to tear those walls down.

You know how in your dreams , you're trying to get in a place you need to be, but you never get there ? I wish I could wake up. But, at least, maybe that's what I'm afraid of... Waking up, and not being enough. Not good enough. Not smart enough. Not pretty enough.

But, there's something that made me change my mind. You know, growing up.. There are certain things that remain just carve in the stone. And I realized one thing that is clearly carve in that stone.

Once you lose yourself, you have two choices : find the person you used to be, or lose that person completly . Because, sometimes, you have to step outside of the person you've been, and remember the person you were meant to be. The person you wanted to be. The person you are.

So, for you to decide, just take a look at yourself in the mirror. Who do you see looking back ? Or is there someone else who were meant to be ? The person you should have been, but fell short of ? Is someone telling you that you can't, or you won't ? Because you can and you will !

Believe that love is out there ! Believe that dreams come true everyday. Because they do !

Sometimes, happiness dosen't come from fame, or money, or power. Sometimes, happiness comes from good friends, and family, and from the quiet nobility of leading a good life. Believe that dreams come true everyday, because they do ! So, take a look at yourself again in that mirror, and tell yourself to be happy, because you deserve to be !

Make a wish, and place it in your heart. Anything you want. Everything you want. Do you have it ? Good. Now, believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle is gonna come from. The next smile, the next wish come true. And if you believe that it's right around the corner, and you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get the thing you're wishing for. The world is full of magic. You just have to believe in it. Make your wish. Do you you have it ? Good. Now, believe in it with all your heart !

Is true that life is funny sometimes... It can push pretty hard. Like when you fall in love with someone, but they forget to love you back. But the point is learning how to pass though all tough things that no one never likes. Anyway, remember the wish you made ? It will come true.

And now, that we learnt all these things, now is the time for us to shine, the time our dreams are wider and reach, and possibilities vast. Now is the time for all us to become the person we always dream of been. This is your world, you are here, you matter,

the world is waiting .

Where not to look for freedom

Moonlight ? Daylight ? Well, both are parts of our lives, you know ? At least, it's not totally dark. A bit of light does always make the difference. Like hope. That is the perfect comparation.

Like, when you're afraid, and no one is figuring it out, but there's always a little sunshine, out there. And you are still afraid, and no one is telling you that is totally normal. Everybody tells you to be not afraid, to be tough, and everything is gonna be alright. But that's not always the good way to think.

Men make fear to look like something bad, something that's not normal, something that makes you weak. But I told you, it's not like that !

There's no shame in being afraid. Hell, we're all afraid ! What you gotta do, is to figure out what you're afraid of, because , when you put a face on it, you can beat it. And better yet, you can use it.

Must of the time, the greatest rewards come from doing things that scare you the most. Maybe, you'll get everything you wished for. Maybe, you'll get more than you ever could've imagined.

Who knows where life will take you ?! The road is long, and, in the end, the journey is the destination.

I want to believe in it all again. Music and art, fate and love, and I want to believe that I've made the right choises, and I'm still on the right path , and there's still time to fix some mistakes I've made. I guess I want hope.

But back then, I realize it's all about music. That's our saving grace. At least, mine.

Music taught us how to pass through life without losing faith, and hope, and our dreams.

Placebo taught me when it's the time when I have to ask myself "Where is my mind ?", and that in every you and every me, we can find a bit of love anytime. Anouk told that anyone of us says at a certain moment that she'll never be nobody's wife, but then she gets lost in someone's eyes, but she dosen't wanna hurt no more. In Gloria Jones's opinion, all of us has a tainted love, and like Bonnie Tyler said, is bringing us a heartache.

I could continue with this, but i guess it's kind of booring. But I can tell you something clear, and I'm sure of it: Music can always heal your soul, and it can give you the best advices. You can find yourself in music, in lyrics, in the beat. And you know what's the best part ? You can fall in love with music, and never get dissapointed.

You can laugh as loud as you can to it, you can dance to it, you can cry to it, you can search for advices in it, you can live better with it. And life would not be the same without the joy of music. Every note you hear, is another feeling you get.

Many people die with their music still in them. Too often it's because they are always getting ready to live. Untill they know it. Time runs out.

They die, and knocking on Heaven's door, they hope to get in, and hear angels playing harp for eternity.

Friedrich Wilhem Nietzsche once said: "Without music, life would be a mistake ." So do I .

My way home is through you

When a song stirs a memory ...

When motes of dust turning in a shaft of light takes your attention from the world ...

When you listen to a train passing on a track at night in the distance, and you wonder where it might be going ...

... You step beyond who you are and where you are.

I was far away from here these days.

Actually, not from here. From the person I am.

I was sick. Sick in bed. Sick , with absolutely nothing to do. Sick, with sick thoughts.

But I guess i'm back now. After all these days, it really feels like home now.

This place full of songs, full of music, full of memories, full of hopes and dreams.

For the briefest of instants, I have steped into the magic realm. That's what I believe.

Somebody told me that this is the place where everything's better and everything's safe.

Somebody told me that a place can mean more than just a place.

It can tell stories, about different lives which may take the same route with only one word and reason.

LOVE.

It can tell sories about some lives which used to have the same route, untill one of them took the other road.

It can tell stories about destiny, about growing up and make your own world, beyond who you are and where you are.

But it also can tell stories about friendship, true friendship. About young people who wrote their history on that place.

I found myself today. I found myself in my music.

This is my house, this is my home.

And I wrote my history here.

You know that feeling you get on a Sunday? When you just have the whole day to yourself, and it's been great, but then you remember you have to go to school the next day, and it ruins the whole rest of the night. I have to go to school tomorrow, and even if it's not a Sunday night, I just have that feeling. It's like Sunday night.

At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just not facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil. People are going to disappoint you, I get that, I kind of expect that but, what happens if one day you wake-up and realize you are the disappointment ?

I want to draw something that means something to someone. Like when you enjoy a really great band live for the first time and no one is saying it but everyone's thinking it. I want to draw that feeling, but I can't.

My whole world’s being ripped away from me. So .. Is it me? Am I the reason people always leave? Am I the reason all these things keep happening to me? Maybe I'm just destined to be alone.

Sometimes people play hard to get to make sure that the other person's feelings are real .

But, you know, realtionship are just too hard .

Being admired is much easier.
